“The Yamburg Cup – Yamal 2016”. The middleweight category

On May 21st will start “The Yamburg Cup – Yamal 2016”.
In the weight category bellow 85kg, for the WFKO belts will face each other: Borisov Andrey (Russia) – Miyahara Jo (Japan) and Chepkasov Denis (Russia) – Redondo Cardoso Jonathan (Spain).
The Russian fighters seriously prepared for this event. Straight after the Russian Championship, which passed on April 10 in Moscow, they started their preparation in a training camp.
Their opponents are strong and experienced fighters. This spring Miyahara Jo won the Japanese Championship in kyokushin-kan in the weight category bellow 85 kg and even Kancho Hatsuo Royama commended him. Redondo Cardoso prepared for the fight under the guidance of his brother Jonathan Tineo, who is known in Spain as “The Messi of karate” and has experience of winning against the strongest Russian fighters.

Borisov Andrey (Russia) vs Miyahara Jo (Japan)

Borisov Andrey (Russia) – born on April 22, 1987, 1st Dan, height: 176cm, weight: 81kg.
Achievements: Master of sports (Russian Master of sports), medalist of the Russian Championship (Matsushima), medalist of the European Championship (Matsushima), Champion of the IFK European Cup in 2013, 2015, champion and medalist of international and All-Russian tournaments.
Miyahara Jo (Japan) – born on November 04, 1994, 1st Dan, height: 175cm, weight: 85kg.
Achievements: 1st place at the Japanese Championship in kyokushin-kan 2016, 1st place at the All Kanto Japan (IKO), champion of the Japanese tournaments in the middleweight category.

Chepkasov Denis (Russia) vs Redondo Cardoso Jonathan (Spain).

Chepkasov Denis (Russia) – born on December 29, 1984, 1st Dan, height: 176 cm; weight: 81kg.
Achievements: Master of sports (Russian Master of Sports), medalist of the Russian IKO Championship (Matsushima), Champion of the IFK European Cup 2012, champion and medalist of international and All-Russian tournaments.
Redondo Cardoso Jonathan (Spain) – born on February 27, 1985, 1st Dan (rengokai), 14 years on kyokushin.
Achievements: Champion of the British Open, Champion of the Open Spain KWF, Champion of the KWU European Championship.
